Autograph letter signed, dated : Vienna, 8 May 1895, to Mr. [W. H.] Hadow, 1895 May 8.

Saying that he spoke with Brahms the night before, that "he is very much delighted by the offer of the College and will certainly accept it," expressing the hope that he will excuse Brahms's not having answered her letter, "because, in the first days of May, he is always very much engaged in answering a great many telegrams, letters and gratulations," etc.
